For a pint of beer at West Ham, yes £7.30!
WHUFC are threatening to sue the stadium operators who are responsible for this scandal.
For comparison £5.19 at Tottenham.

 

I was in WHL a couple of weeks ago and it was £6.50

 

You got a bargain then. London news outlets reporting £7.30 beer £7.60 lager, hence the sue threat from the football club.

 

I enjoy a pint as much as the next but it always amazes me that some football fans cannot manage to go a whole 90 minutes without a pint, show some bo--ocks and as a body of fans refuse to spend one penny at the bar until a more realistic price is introduced , fans continually get fleeced but at at least this way we can hit back .

 

West Ham have no say in the prices and want them sorted. A bottle of pop over half as much as we charge (£2.20) and a pint of Inch's £7.30 when you can get a pack of ten 440ml cans at Morrisons for a tenner.

 

Good bit of research that, notice no cash payment also, it's rubbish.

I think a lot of fans can go 90 minutes without a pint but a lot of fans enjoy a catch up with mates and beer or 2 before the game,

 

Always made me laugh "smart water". When a 500ml bottle of tap water costs more than the same amount of petrol you know something's not right

 

cant really argue with bfc prices £4.20 and £4 dont know if we charge the same at away end. sheff utd was £5 for a can. at least we have draught and it good and cold .slow service though

That price comes under allergies and intolerances shurley.

 

Then meet in a pub , its nothing what cannot be got round , we always used to meet in the East Dene or the Dove & many years ago the Mount, all I am saying is protest & resist paying out to a blatant rip off .

 

It was only £7.10 at the Oval last month. I never realised what a bargain that was.

 

Can't say for now, but a few years ago it was cheaper for the members in the pavilion bar. Or if you pinch a members card and try your luck there!

 

£7.50-ish at Edgbaston, although I think that includes a quid glass deposit. I've just stopped drinking there really. My new rule is that at big events I'm generally OK with any two out of medicocre beer choice, long queues and high prices. All three and I'll stick to the tea.

Although having said that, tea was pushing three quid last time I was there, so maybe it's time to invest in a thermos!

 

I was sitting with 3 members but as it was an ODI they did not have the automatic right to get into the Pavilion, which is not a problem for county games. I was introduced to Loko who was sitting with my group.

 

Hmm, I think they might have changed that then. Maybe since they built the new stand, or the stewards have changed. Was trickier for tests, but ODI's the stewards always seemed lenient towards members as long as you timed it right.
