    An old school mate had a quarter share in a small plane (Cesner I think) at Gainsborough and about 15 years ago he took me up for a flight. We flew over Oakwell (much lower than in this picture) and as it happens there was a match on at the time and we could actually see the ball pinging about.

    I seem to remember it was a 2-1 defeat to Hull in League 1 (just checked on 11v11 and it must have been 28th August 2004).

    The day GB won the 4x100 m relay gold in Athens. I know because I missed the last train home and had to sleep on a bench in the bus station.
