    The problem at Barnsley FC lies in the recruitment dept they are living on a few relatively successful pieces of recruitment involving Central Defenders that are quickly disappearing into the mists of time. At the minute the recruitment looks dire perhaps a certain Mr Cryne jnr should offer some sort of comment on his much talked about system and how he's going to put it right.

    We couldn't compete in the championship and it’s starting to look like we can’t compete in league one either. Defence as not looked good this season at all .

    Spot on. I expect us to be lower mid table by the end of October, but I also think that given time Duff will get us playing reasonably well.

    I don't think it is anything like an over reaction.

    Given Duff had all pre season you would expect to see some shape and a bare minimum of efficiency in his gameplan. It's non existent, they can't even string together a few passes without a stupid pass or no hope long ball.

    I'd be giving Mr Duff his Scarborough warning now, sort it out, show us at least a glimmer of football otherwise sithi.

    Well I did think it would be a relegation battle this season, anything more is a bonus. Talk of top half and promotion seems a long way away as it stands.
