He was certainly old manned by Derby's more experienced players today. Of course not the reason we lost today. Thought that we had the better of the decisions versus Cheltenham.
As I said in the matchday thread, Dorby fans I talked to at the end thought the ref was kind to them. I was particularly angered by the handball incident when the Dorby player fell during a 50-50 tussle and the ref gave them a free kick rather than give us a penalty.
I was ****ing fuming at that. Players are doing that more & more often. Should have been a red card & penalty. So infuriating. These refs need a backbone
2 occasions in first half derby moved 10 yards from where the free kick was given your the first time we move a few yards from where throwing was he made us go back
There was a throwing in the first half Derby had he basically run half the pitch, whilst the ref was staring straight at him. I just laughed.
And then pulled us up for stealing yards on a throw in about 10 minutes later! Honestly feel like I’m going crazy sometimes with the inconsistencies.
Haven’t watched the game back yet but when Korey Smith rolled over and handled the ball, never a free kick to them. I’d like to see the challenge on Luke Thomas again too.
This is my problem too. I don't mind referees being bad (within reason ofcourse). But the biggest pet peeve of mine is how inconsistent the calls are.
