Could be because they are waiting for SYP to give permission for the game to go ahead and pick a time and date - Im going for 6am Sunday morning
They're working out if they can charge £50 for the away fans, but no-one knows how to use the abacus.......
They do, its just that they can never get the same answer twice when pricing up due to the amount of fingers on each hand being more than 5.
Am totally misunderstanding this now. We charge either £23 or £20 (if reciprocal) for home and away end. They have a £6 difference in home and away end? Yet my understanding last time we were in same league as Wendies, when folk said "why don't we charge the lovely people same price that they charge us at the Sty" ...... we weren't allowed to do it cos it would have been unfair that the Pony paid less than the away end? What am I missing? Cos I won't be paying £34 (or £32) to go to that place.
I agree, 'cos I'm missing something as well. I'm 100% positive that I've paid £10 more as an away fan to sit in the same stand as the home supporters in the past, never mind opposite ends. Edit. It wasn't at Hillsboro (obviously)
Reciprocal pricing has to be agreed. Wednesday should charge no more than £28 adults for leppings lane end. Equivalent view to kop. If wednesday don't agree to one of their lower categories. Regardless. if the reciprocal price is not agreed We will/should charge no more than £23 adults in our away end in the reverse fixture. Same as ponty. Leeds did a crafty trick when they swapped us to the side from back of goal. Making it cheaper for some home fans. And dearer for us. Incentives can be produced for home fans. And I'll stand corrected as I was told at a forum up to 3 games.
I don't quite follow, so what would happen for example if we turned round to them for the Oakwell game and said £34 please chaps? We'd be told we can't do that, I think?
Our standard price ponty is £23 adults (categories removed) So I believe that would be the max we could charge Wednesday. If £20 is not agreed. We could offer an incentive to our own. To make it less. Eg 3 games for £50. I don't think, and again, stand corrected wendy could push the price up above £28 for us. I'll try to see what we charged em in comparison to our lot last time we played em. We definitely made it our highest category for our own.
I fully expect them to charge us £34 in line with their highest category A price. I sort of half hope they do so I’m not tempted. Had too many bad experiences at that place and swore I’d never return after McGuire’s stoppage time winner a few years back, the umpteenth time they’ve done us in that fashion. I’ve resisted so far…..
OK, cheers I was mistakenly thinking 'South Stand' is away end, but it seems that their graphic does not include away prices? Whereas ours does and to me it looks as if the prices are set in stone. So Wendies will pay £23 at our gaff. Yet I bet we won't be allowed to change that IF they charge us £30 for example. Clear as mud.
They have to charge Away fans the same as they charge home fans for similar seats so they should be the same as the Kop so Id expect £28
