Sums my views up really not enough pace, not very strong or good enough in the air to be a decent championship striker.
I’m not surprised you post on this Board. 4 games gone and “get rid, they’re garbage.’ Fits right in.
You weren't dealing in facts. You said he played golf when the chips were down. That's 100% factually wrong.
It's difficult to take the moral high ground after talking condescendingly about "dealing in facts" despite being objectively wrong.
Woodrow will forever be a mystery to me. Before lockdown, he was excellent, whether it was in a front 2, or just behind Chaplin and Brown. Look at the compilation that was created last season when he got to 50 goals, he scored all sorts of goals. Screamers, tap ins, lots of first time touches, even a few headers. Then he appeared to spend lock down forgetting how to kick a ball, because when the season restarted he seemed incapable of striking a ball cleanly. He contributed under Ismael, mainly leading the press but also chipping in with goals here and there. But for all his effort last season, he seemed to spend most of his time backing into defenders, then looking surprised when the ref gave a free kick for him backing in. As for Morris, you can always send him back. No refunds though.
I'm delighted to hear it about Woodrow & Morris lol. And Luton for a relegation struggle as well ehh.
If they buy enough Barnsley players it’s inevitable that they will end up getting relegated we can’t manage it for than a couple of seasons.
Thought Woodrow had fallen out of love of playing for us maybe it's football in general the habit of looking over his shoulder when the ball was played into him to see if was going to get challenged to me seemed maybe his stomach for the fight had gone. Morris like others have said will come good sure once he settles he will do ok.
All I can say for their Luton careers so far is "LOL". As for us, genius bit of business letting not one but both of them go to a club with probably the joint lowest budget in the Championship when they'll have had suitors willing to pay double. But then we're always ever so keen to offload players at bargain prices.
