Possibly the worst game he's ever played for us and I rate him. I felt he should have done better for all three goals. Especially the second when he shouldn't have been so far off his line and the third which was at a decent height to deal with.

Cup keeper Walton plays well at Leeds and then surely Duff has a decision to make.

His distribution is shocking, duff looked pissed off a few times in the second half with him not releasing the ball quick enough. Need to watch the 2nd goal back but he didn’t look to have any urgency to get back on his line until it was too late

Not really. Collins is number 1 keeper, one dodgy game doesn't change that.

Yes, the second goal caught him out. But how many times does he save us from that position? How many times did Wycombe beat our backline with 1 long ball? Fact is we probably don't even realise just how much work he puts into everything he does. Goalkeeper is the least of our worries, by a mile.

I think Collins is an excellent keeper. All keepers have the occasional poor game. Collins has far fewer than most.

Collins needs to practice catching/punching crosses - he's missed a few lately.

I knew there’d be a thread on Collins. And there’s plenty of other posts in other threads about it too.

How many times has his high starting position saved us? How many times has he come out and nipped any danger in the bud when one ball over the top has turned and beaten our whole back line?

As I’ve mentioned in another thread, it’s too easy to blame Collins. Look at the barearsed laziness that allowed the lad the space and time to even try what he did.

I sincerely hope that goal doesn’t lead to Collins staying a lot deeper as I think it will lead to a lot more goals for the opposition from balls over the top or through the back line turning our centre halves.

There are a lot of league one clubs who would love to have Brad Collins keeping goal for them. Jack Walton as a league one number two is also fine. Of all our issues, goalkeeping isn’t one of them.

He had a bad game. He’s had loads of good ones and I will cut him a lot of slack for that

To add to my post above - watch it back. His staring position want even that high, he was barely in front of his penalty spot, well in his box.

The lad ten yards into our half with the freedom to do what he liked was the issue.

Isn’t that the Barnsley way? Who was the last keeper we had that came out to dominate the area? Heinz Muller?

He's accumulated enough credit with his performances that he could smash the ball into his own net 37 times and I'd still start him.

Agreed. Will need to see the highlights. Was clearly a well placed lob, but who was closing it down? Not sure...

We need to give credit to 3 excellent Wycombe finishes (and remember the one where they played pinball with our post/bar).

Compare with our efforts. We have little to trouble anyone.

Highlights here. Collins shouldn't have been beaten from that range for the second. The execution was perfect, an amazing bit of skill, but Collins should still have saved it. I don't think any keeper in the world would have got their 1st and 3rd. And I have no idea how Wycombe didn't get 5 rather than just the 3. And they played some football today that we are simply not capable of as we don't have the skill in the squad. To put that in perspective, that team that schooled us and made us look daft had lost their previous 3.
