Joke of a pitch. Glad to win but questions need asking. If they win their last match home to Hampshire at Scarborough on Tuesday we go through to the quarter finals. But Hampshire have only lost once in six games so it will be very tough.

I missed it all but we should accept the result ……. because errr it’s cricket !
    You’re right though, it’s a lot of wickets isn’t it ?

I should have gone today instead of going to the pub !

Apparently it was an all Yorkshire born X1 today.

    Tuesday win would be nice

Win at Scarborough and through. They haven't announced yet but it's in the press that Yorkshire have signed Shan Masood as their overseas player next season. Rumoured to be the new captain and available for the whole season in all formats. Some signing that. Derbyshire are upset they couldn't get him signed up again as he's been amazing for them.

I haven’t a clue how Net run rate is worked out so if we just win, we’re through to quarters.

It wouldn’t surprise me if most players don’t know either

Was watching a game last week on youtube, damned if I can remember which one, and the commentators with a combined 70 odd years of reporting on their counties for the BBC were at a loss to explain it...

As its NET run rate I'm guessing its your teams average run per ball minus the average run per ball of all the teams you've played. Simple as that, no account of wickets like in DWL as its not needed, just average strike rates taken away from each other.

Win and through. Lose and hope other results go our way. Yorkshire won the toss and will ball first. Hampshire have done excellent as they have loads of players missing like us.

314 doable here but need to bat very well, and could have been a lot more at 240/2
think i'll be keeping a look out on kent, glamorgan got a decent total too so need to keep an eye on nrr, dunno if they'll be able to overtake us,
    come on lancs!

Lancs are helping us out. If Worcs win we had better hope if we lose it's not by much to save our NRR.
