Just got in from the game. Tremendous atmosphere throughout. One of the most enjoyable games I've ever been to as a neutral.
My reply wasn't to you or anything to do with the match itself mate. Was a reply to winged avenger mentioning people who aren't revelling in Uniteds defeat as before
With all the shoite we're having to put up with, its a nice bit of consolation to be able to gloat occasionally at the likes of ManUre Fc.
I agree. I'm one of them. Last night was a bolt from the blue but Liverpool look poor. No midfield and no service to the strikers.
Never understood these bets? Get the accumulater principal that’s been here forever, I mean the 0.5 or 2.5 etc, why do they use decimals on single matches?
Van Dijk has never lost a league game at Anfield for Liverpool, wonder what odds you could get this year?
My takes: How did Klopp fail to bring on Fabinho at half time when Milner and Henderson were getting drybummed? Why wait till one of them inevitably cost Liverpool another goal before changing it? 'Trent' is brilliant going forward but a defensive liability. Southgate is spot on, shouldn't be anywhere near the Englamd right back spot, give me Walker or Trippier every time. Thought Martinez and Varane were tremendous. I would say Maguire will struggle to get back in but Varane will inevitably ne injured for two months within another game or two.
It's their way of letting you pick how many goals, corners etc. you think a game will have. As you can't physically have 0.5 of a goal for example if you say over 2.5 goals you are hoping 3 goals are scored in the game as of course 0.5 of a goal isn't a thing. Not sure why they added this rule as you could probably just say over 2 goals and that essentially means the same thing but it is just the way they work for some reason. I am sure someone with more knowledge of bookies could give you a much better explanation
Yeah that’s the bit I don’t get, sure there will be logic somewhere, only thing I can think of is if it was first done for Accs and has evolved from that.
Apparently it's to do minimising misreading of the actual bet. More than 2 goals is easily (again apparently) easily misinterpreted, whereas 1.5 goals or more isn't. It makes people have to think as obviously 1.5 isn't possible but 2 is. People will see the 2 but not the 'more than'. According to my betting friends they did loads of studies and research into form filling, betting slips etc. I for one do it regular and don't read the question. I've just had 3 goes at a passport form and did first 2 wrong on the same question.
