I'll be surprised if he goes there, I think they're on for a very turbulent season. He can go to a much better side. 1 million is an insult.

Hmmm, no actual news sources reporting it. Just a couple of Huddersfield fans claiming to be "ITK".

Seems to have been started by one asking whether anyone has heard anything about it, and later another saying he understands it to be true.

I'm not convinced. A few of their other fans think they don't have the money to spend on him.

And considering we've publicly said we've turned bids down for him already, I honestly can't see that we've then agreed a million for him.

 

I'd be a little shocked if he chose to go there after supposedly rejecting the rumoured move to Lech Poznan. Unless he is really settled in Yorkshire it would be a strange career choice.

 

One Huddersfield fan tweeting that he had heard a rumour and others mentioning it. Dean Hoyle would have to spend money so it's a non starter.

 

Absolute joke if it's £1m

 

That change of playstyle to maximise transfer values is really paying dividends

 

If he is sold for £1million we need to give up.

I’ve been a massive defender of the need to sell, fully accepting of our place in the pyramid.

But if a player still short of his 27th birthday; a full international centre back for a decent quality side; a player looking to go to the World Cup; one who made the championship team of the year last season despite being surrounded by absolute rubbish - is sold for £1million, there’s just no point.

I know he has less than a year on his contract. I know that probably at least halves what his value might have been on a longer contract.

But I’d be amazed if we sold him for so little. Though we won’t ever know what we get for anyone so it’s a moot point regardless.

But it hasn't worked has it? We changed the playing style, got relegated and who have we sold for max profit, we're struggling to sell some at all by the looks of things.
