Brilliant result that, get some of the injured lads back and hopefully some new blood and onwards and upwards hopefully
First things first, a brilliant point. Rode our luck against a team I fancy to go up automatic, but we didn’t give up. Came back twice. Massive step in changing the character of the club and some of the players, as Duff has mentioned. Bring on Wednesday, who look equally as impressive this season too. Big challenges early on.
Excellent away result at the league leaders and to come back from a goal down, too. I'm very happy with that today.
2-2 but I can't take many positives from that. At the end of that game we were just the same as last season - riding our luck. No capacity to hold the ball at all. We've dropped down a league and the last 2 teams we've played have been much better than us. With this squad and no additions we're bottom half.
Im just glad we turned into a team of shithouses. Far too many times teams have done that to us, and how pleasing it was to be a team of assholes Brilliant point
Big few days coming up for the club which will determine where we’re going this season i just hope the club gives Duff the players he requires.
I didn't see today's game so can't comment on the ebb and flow but on the face of it it's a good point. My general feeling (frustration) is that were only desperate to score when we're behind which will limit how high we can finish.
In the last 2-3 seasons I've not seen any of our players get into more great scoring positions, and then fluff their lines. Oduor seems to have cornered the market. As least he gets into those positions, so it may come off one day.
There might be some truth in our bucking our ideas up once we've gone behind. Which means that we ought to be sent out with the right attitude in the first place. However against Wycombe there was no response to a change in the score. In fact it was the opposite reaction - we went to pieces.
