He couldn't have done any worse than Norwood today.

Yep, nothing to lose and if he plays ok it might help to move him on.
I've never seen a car dealer that points out all the negatives on a car that he's trying to sell.

In a proper industry, Barnsley could have made a complaint to the FA/UEFA/FIFA about the behaviour and conduct of P. Conway as acting CEO..There is something wrong about that deal for Oulare and Iseka and the relationship with 777. Also, bearing in mind the comments of supporters of clubs in europe about the behaviour of Lee and Conway, they ought to be investigated. We are going to be hindered both financially and football wise for the next few years, because of their behaviour.

Scored the same amount of goals this season as many other attacking players we've got and in much less game time. Iseka is getting all the stick but regular players like Norwood get off lightly.

Cut from the same cloth as Platini and Blatter, shouldn't be allowed anywhere near professional football

Ian Marshall was one of the worst trainers ever seen. All his ex team mates mentioned him. Scored a stack of goals when he was played up front. I'd give Iseka a run of matches just to see if he's only **** in training

Sadly Norwood not what many expected and doesn't look like the answer. Liked Iseka when he came but something turned him off and now the only route for him is the exit..agree that Conman and Co should be investigated over the transfer of him and Oulare..

I'm all for jettisoning players if they're 5hit but Iseka isn't.

I think Duff is being short sighted here. I'll ask anyone this.

If you're Iseka asked to bust a gut in training and it isn't in your make up. Are you going to track back and tackle just to play?

How would fans feel if Iseka nuked Benson or Styles tracking back?

From Duffs point of view. You want funds to rubber stamp your authority. You have Iseka sat there not even playing in reserves. It doesn't make sense.

Whose gunna buy him without seeing him play?

Like I said the Iseka situation is the only thing Duff is doing wrong thus far. I don't think baring in mind our financial situation he's handling this well at all.

He speaks well, results are on par and for once in my life I love a head coach to bits but he's wrong here.

Your assuming it’s Duff making the decision to not include him.
What if it’s Iseka is refusing to play as he wants a transfer?
What if the decision has been taken he is leaving and just waiting for things to drop into place ?

Equally good points mate. Either way it's concerning and doesn't make sense. Well to me anyway.

If it isn't in your make up to "bust a guy" which I take as meaning try or put effort in then frankly you're a bone idle, lazy waster who deserves nothing. Sick of people who expect to be given opportunities in life without having to earn them.

I'll change your question around. If you were a boss Inca company and you had an employee who refuses to try at his job because it isn't in his make up to put effort in now long would he stay working for you? For me he'd be out of the door straight away

But is this lack of putting him in the shop window holding the club back. We all know we need to sell.

I understand your point of view, but the way Duff players he needs exactly the opposite of what Iseka seems to offer. I've seen what Duff has done and is attempting to do, so if I had to choose between trusting either one of them, it's Duff.

Surely there's other clubs who buy players without looking at them btw? Bit like us with Obbi...

I wasn't trying to be anti Duff mate and I apologise if that's the way it came across. I want Iseka sold if it means we can strengthen. However, I can't see us selling him in the current climate.

What kind of message does it send to the younger players who are being told they need to earn their chance of first team football, if some idle waster in training gets to play on a weekend?

The mentality at this football club was all wrong last season, from the boardroom, to the dugout, to the training pitch. You don’t reverse that kind of environment by not demanding a level playing field from those wanting to play football.

He might come off the bench and display a moment of brilliance. He equally might refuse to track back and result in us conceding. But regardless of cameos, our football club is better off with players suiting the environment the new boss wants to create than the other way around.

We are a football club though who play in a sporting competition. In my opinion it's more important to play he players who are trying to win football matches than it is playing lazy wasters just so that they can get a move to another club.

It’s frustrating cos I think Iseka has the potential to score heavily at this level but it looks like we’ll not get to find out. It’s not like we’re spoilt for choice in the striker department.
Guess we have to back Duff’s judgement here. Can’t see him being sold but fully expect him to leave on loan by Thursday.

It isn’t just about work rate though.

It’s about attitude and application. Devante Cole is hardly a relentless runner. But he’s obviously shown enough during the week to be in the squad.

Iseka is clearly completely uninterested as he’d surely have been able to do enough to warrant a squad place at least a few times.

He has ability. I’d like to see him at this level - but I also trust the judgement of the manager on this. If he’s a bad influence and not putting it in, only going through the motions in training, he shouldn’t be around the team or squad.

He should be banging the gaffer’s door down demanding game time, showing in training how much ability he has so that it can’t be ignored. Working to get fitter if he has to.

There is no evidence he’s done any of that.
