The trouble is, we all know what's going to happen ! Even in a parallel universe the same would happen, it's meant to be. And to cap it all they are doing well at the moment, winning is becoming a habit and must make them feel good. They will know they can trounce the little team from down the road.
I’ll be going. Can’t believe what good value the tickets are. Travelling more in hope than expectation….but you never know.
A Cup Final in August? Always disliked Huddersfield and Leeds more but that's because I've always lived closer to Wakefield than Sheffield.
I work in Sheffield and had to explain why I disliked Huddersfield more than them. Geography isn’t their strong point. Got to say though most of the Wendy’s I work with are decent folk they just play up to this massive thing because they know it gets a rise. They have a point but hopefully none Saturday.
I like the games with Wednesday. I've some family who support them, so we generally have a few pints before and after. Neither of us generally care too much for the 90 minutes in between, as generally speaking (especially at Oakwell) it's never really a riveting encounter. I've always disliked United more, but I guess that comes with growing up in the 90s and supporting us through the 00s and 10s when United were particularly odious.
Pointless even attending, expect the worse, get the worse. The result is a forgone conclusion. We’ll be on the end of a shocking refereeing decision no doubt.
