Talked himself into being sacked now when results won’t be deemed to be his fault rather than later in the season when they are inevitably in the relegation places. Bournemouth have cheated over many years financially so if they’re not spending anything now, the fans can’t moan. But it does make it a bloody impossible task for a manager to establish them back up in the premier league. Parker’s words were ill advised and ill timed. He’s had a dig at his bosses and belittled his players. But that doesn’t mean he’s wrong. They are short. And if they add nobody they have no chance imo. Can’t see Dyche wanting it if they’re signing nobody before Thursday. Very strange timing to appoint a new manager now but I can see why they got rid of Parker as the relationship between him and the club was clearly over.
I don't understand the Bournemouth hatred. "They've spent money they haven't got to get where they are." Well yes, as has every other club in the Premier League and the Championship come to that. Maybe there a couple that haven't but it's only a couple. Even we have. That million the owners put in, that was money we didn't have. It seems that people are OK with so called bigger clubs spending money they haven't got, but if a smaller club does it they've cheated.
Scott Parker, will be one of those managers who always seems to land on his feet, despite never actually having achieved very much..
Two promotions from the Championship to the Prem, with two different teams. Not half bad that for four years in management.
If you're referring to the two promotions with teams with massive budgets as a steering job then I agree.
And he will probably get another go when one of the big teams having to play in the Second division have had enough of their current manager not guaranteeing them automatic promotion Id expect him to be installed at Watford or West Brom or similar well before the end of this season
He's a clever guy in the sense that he can come in and knows what's required. He doesn't rock the boat. His problem lies when he's achieved his goal and in the Premier League he hasn't got the ability to step it up.
