    We could use a process of elimination. But this definitely isn't something new. We have operated at the minimum viable level for a number of years. Success means we just scrape through, failure means relegation.

    i can understand we are being left behind competitively in the Championship but were are in L1 and the minimum viable product model still exists.

    are we out of our depth in L1? We can argue we have no money as we haven't sold Helik and Styles but all that tells me is our ability to transfer players out is just as bad as transfers in.

    its a little odd isn’t it. The only other comparable occasions where we have looked well off the pace in L1 were post admin which was fairly understandable and the mk2 Wilson who had 5 contracted players a week before the season started and had to construct a whole new team. He eventually got the players with support from Patrick but couldn’t make them gel but the talent was there.

    This time despite the sales we still have a pretty bloated squad with lots of Championship experience in the mix but we look abject. No support from boardroom level to rebuild a team. We look like a club in crisis but we shouldn’t be really.

    Strange recruitment again. Experience is fine but Norwood is just gone. Rest pretty meh on the whole with no attempt to address an abject forward line.

    Well since Conway was ousted we can't blame him for ongoing signings. (Exception of likely spend we have (none) this season at least).

    How long do we keep blaming him until we sound like the Tories... in 7 seasons time?

    To be fair people were creaming over the Norwood signing it was the experience that we needed, bring marsh and co on etc etc. Hes more like lita teeacy turnbull oulare.. not the experience we needed or want.

    We drew 2-2 with the league leaders on Saturday but tonight played largely an u21 side and getting hammered down to 10 men. Maybe a little perspective is needed?
    We obviously aren’t interested in this competition
