Talking about training ...maybe he's just one of those players who struggles with the language barrier, seeing as we can't afford to have a translator employed, therefore is he struggling to fit in...and feels alienated hence its making him unhappy and is effecting his game. As for not giving 100% in training who remembers Paul Mcgrath...he could only train 2 days a week if that, due to his on going knee problems, but he always gave 110% and beyond, when he pulled on his match day shirt and crossed the white line into the field of play Plus he never backed out from getting stuck in, where tackles were concerned Played at a higher level as well as representing his country
Not interested, one of the worst signings in bfc history him and oulare... oh the conman days and to think were still paying him for been awol and probably a large part of oulares wages.
**** him. If he can't be arsed get rid. It's not like the 90s when half of the players are out getting pissed every night, the game is much more professional these days and if he can't be arsed to put the graft in in training for his wage then he can piss off to whichever club is daft enough to pay him. Plus I'm sure I read he blamed the language barrier, the club appointed a translator to call his bluff and he still tossed it off.
I’m not sure there’s any clubs daft enough. That’s our problem. Khaled keeps getting in the neck, but we’ve got close to £15k a week going out on two Belgians that Uncle Paul brought in. You could absorb that as a Championship club and cut your cloth accordingly, but you can’t lose £7/8 million of revenue and then be lumbered with £750k a year going out the door on two players who you don’t want anywhere near the squad. Appreciate some of the salary might be coming back via the Oulare loan, but I think we all know it will be minimal.
I could have done more than norwood tonight but the fact is iseka and oulare are still a drain on the budget 1 year on iseka stealing a living both on decent wages.
That’s assuming that club really wanted Oulare in the first place. Job for the boyos springs to mind. I’m sure they’re making a contribution of some sort.
I read a couple of weeks back that Obbi has another long term 'injury'. You'd have thought they'd ship him back to us. Maybe Uncle Paul did broker that loan deal?
I'd have let them have him if they offered £50 a week to be honest, it's still slightly better than paying the full whack and getting nowt in return
Not having it. He's never had chance to settle in. I'm not condoning his attitude but I would he peed of i was kept out of the squad as these are shocking
Was it yourself that suggested Conway had links to someone at RWDM? Apologies if not . It seemed a bizarre deal at the time and I'm surprised they haven't shipped him back to his parent club
A few people have suggested it. We don’t have anyone at the club now who can broker such a deal for Iseka, and no ‘favours’ coming our way from Conway or Lee.
Please explain what "not having had chance to settle in" means. This is the 3rd manager who hasn't fancied him despite us being *****, so I think it's pretty clear at this point that the problem isn't with the manager...
John Textor, who bought 80% of RWDM is one of Conway's Florida mates and helped broker Textor's deal with the previous owners of RWDM. Conway, who meets his contacts to discuss the evolution of soccer at Miami Beach spots including celebrity-favorite steak restaurant Prime 112 or nearby Joe’s Stone Crab, also played a part in the RWD Molenbeek deal. “He’s acted like a friend,” said Jupiter Island resident Textor. “He’s a terrific resource and even flew to Belgium with me to introduce me to the owners of the team.”
He can't be any worse than some who play for us but multiple head coaches haven't rated him and apparently he hasn't even bothered to learn English, which is a bad look.
