Cool. Can we also sign a synchronised swimmer, we don't feature them in the manager's preferred formation either.
Hoped he was a right winger, that’s the side we need to strengthen. Unless Styles is off and we’re getting a RWB too. That’d make too much sense for Khaled though…..
Do traditional wingers exist in modern football? I think he's just a talented attacking player who can play multiple roles across the front three or five.
Why do you keep attacking Khaled I don't think he identifies signings thats the recruitment team and the manager.
We have seen many times wingers convert to play in “the hole” behind the striker or vice verse. I don’t mind the signing so long as there are going to be two more
I watched a few Doncaster Rovers games last season (mates have free tickets) and Martin stood out. This was in a poor side that offered very little attacking threat and when it would have been easy for a young player to hide. He often played behind the strikers and never as an out n out winger. He was a willing runner, was always looking for the ball and looking to take people on. He potentially offers a better end product than Luke Thomas in terms of both goals and assists and could be a very good signing.
Apart from getting Duff in as head coach he’s hardly covered himself in glory has he? He has a heavy involvement in recruitment, he’s said as much in the past. Connell apart, this season’s recruitment has been abysmal. Jury still out on him getting in Tedic as a favour from City too. Barely looked like a professional footballer last night. Shocking first touch and physically bullied all night by Lincoln’s reserve centre halves.
True but I’ve never mentioned Cadden. He’s hardly played so can’t be judged fairly yet but I can hardly put him in the success category either. Time will tell…..
That's a great plan. Just one fatal flaw: we have no strikers to speak of. Is Vic there? Never thought I'd miss him but starting to. LoL
