The last 2 away games the same people have mocked, spouted bile and generally took the micky out of BFC when the team is announced and sometimes even before. This club isn't rotten to the core it's a club in transition trying to stabilise and then push forward. The bitter comments made today before a ball was kicked were distasteful at best. Karma at its best today.
It isn't their audacity mate. It's their lack of patience. Every time we lose, players arent good enough, board dont care, etc etc. It isn't that straightforward. We will lose against teams who we should beat, it's a transitional season and we need time and patience and trust in Duff to achieve
Great win and sounds like an excellent team performance. Im so pleased. Quite odd that people then moan about the people who moan. While there are people that polarise to the issues there are equally people who polarise to the upsides. Doesn't mean we don’t want us to win or to achieve success.
It is very annoying to read though after time and time again saying the same thing, mate. But mistakes will be made in the future, no doubt, fans will moan and grumble. But then there will equally be days like today where we play fantastic and take all 3 points
I don't moan about people who moan, I just take the mick & be glad they're not watching my back in a war zone..
sorry mate, gonna go against the grain on this one. I just don't see the need for this kind of open letter point scoring, immediately after such a brilliant win. there's a been a few of these posts already. comes across just as divisive as the thing you're criticising IMO. just the other side of the coin. I just wish everyone could enjoy the win together. it's been a brilliant performance. to be clear, I broadly agree with your assessment of where we are as a club, and I consider myself moderate. it's the calling out I'm not a fan of.
One swallow doesn’t make a summer. Today was a convincing victory, but the issue we have is consistency. We need to be able to replicate this kind of performance more often. I was genuinely down about todays fixture before the game. I’m sorry if that offends you. I think Duff is a great manager, but wasn’t convinced we had the players to see it through. I will be eating humble pie today…. And hopefully have one in the oven for our upcoming fixtures…
If thats for me I'm not moaning about anybody each to there own etc.Personally I'd rather wait until full time than preempt how bad we are before a ball is kicked. Reminds me of a few years ago when we lost at Newcastle 6-1.A bloke said to me did tha go,yes I said,I bet you wished you hadn't bothered he said, why I said I didn't know we were going to lose 6-1.
Yeah true. We all have an knack of over stating or under stating when it comes to BFC. We moan like the end of the world and celebrate like we won the world cup. Thats what football fans do as emotion rather than logic often drives the discussion.
yes its aimed at you and every other poster on here ;-) We all have moans …. Just from different angles.
Give over. The people who are critical of the club on here are also fans. I knew someone would come on and stir the pot. The club is not been run right, we know that! iIt is transitional period because of the poor decisions made by the boards. Great win today, fantastic in fact, particularly because of the Wycombe and Lincoln game. However, there's still a mountain to climb by this new board. I've said it many times on here, one swallow does not make it summer. Raise a glass to terrific result and look forward to Pompey next week
I'm happy about today's result but just listen carefully to Duffs after match Radio Sheffield interview and then tell me everythings rosey in the Oakwell Garden. We can all celebrate days like today doesn't mean we can't point out the things that are wrong when they need to be pointed out.
I listened to it. Was the standard fair and honest assessment. Certainly nothing to start more conspiracy stories?
