Obviously I have no idea but my gut feel is that he could have pushed a move to the championship. But he hasn’t. He seems extremely dedicated and loyal, two qualities which I value and the latter is pretty much nonexistent in football today. He seems a great lad. Big up Mads.
My favourite Reds player by a mile. Brilliant footballer who overcame a lot in his first season with us and clearly a lovely and intelligent lad too.
I love him, he had a couple of 'dodgy' games at beginning of season, but since that Middlesbrough game has gone, he's been absolutely superb, seems to be cutting his long aimless balls too, runs more with the ball andpicks a short pass. Excellent.
Deserves to be Captain. Leads by example and a cracking lad. The amount of stick he got when he arrived was laughable. Young lad, moving to a different country playing in arguably a tougher league, he was always going to be prone to making mistakes. Playing without fans during COVID clearly helped him develop and we are now reaping the benefits.
I only caught glimpses of the game but he looked immense in the bits I saw. "You'll never beat Mads Anderson" doesn't roll off the tongue but he was looking that good
He was immense today. Massive part of why we looked so solid and Weds never really got a look in. Would’ve been my man of the match apart from whoever came up with the James Norwood song. Do-ah-didi-didi-dum-didi-do.
Top top bloke. Massive boost keeping him (until January at least). Looks different class at this level, and plays with a smile on his face. Top player, top bloke.
I'd go as far to say. Probably his best performance fot tarn. Absolutely immense and it rubbed off on all the others.
One of my favourites. Great defender and his smile is infectious. I’d love him to stay for many years and become a proper club legend but teams will be sniffing. Probably our next big cash cow and we should get a decent amount for him.
He is bloody amazing. I hope he breaks the record for most games in our history for a overseas player and reached a decade for a testimonial. He's too good for this level and I have no doubt he could have moved on if he wanted. He must really love it here.
I knew he'd do well from that first interview, he really was delighted to be at the club.It was massively unfair to throw him and Bambo in at the deep end , no wonder so many mistakes were marchers was no experience there. His positivity must be a boost for the team and is love it if he did stay with us and have another crack at the Championship.
Great lad - absolutely dominant in the air. If we’re doing well and in the top 10 come Christmas, I think he’ll stay. If we’re mid to lower league, I think we may have to cash-in and there’ll be quite a few offers for him. Can’t blame him or the club if so, he’s too good for L1. I think he’s realised that L1 is still tough and has some big clubs in it still. A lot of over-seas players don’t realise how big and competitive L1 actually is until they play in it.
3rd game in a row he's been the man of the match for me. He's upped his game from being a solid 7 every week, to an 8/9.
Don't go getting too attached we all know how this ends but well done Mads maturing into very good defender.
