Right descision if he didnt want to be here. Hope he is upto it in the championship obviously thinks he is.
Millwall fans raving about him today on debut. Hope he smashes it and we get a fortune for him next summer! And it’s not like we missed him today is it? Better off without him. It was obvious even in pre-season games he’d taken his bat and ball home.
Duff said he's done what's been asked. I think people have taken him saying he wants to leave as evidence he couldn't care less, but to me, on the pitch on the whole he contributed. I still think it's a bizarre one but there you go. Hope he does well in the future ( but not against us)
"He didn't want to be here" Could say he looked that way with his performances for the whole duration of last season. Fitting he plays for a racist country and joined a club of very similar ilk. Millwank fans won't put up with him playing like he has for us for a long time.
all in all I personally think it's shrewd business from the club. I've been as critical as many on Khaled, and it looked a terrible deal on Thursday night. but he's nailed this one for me. would appear no one came in with a bid, and he's obviously desperate to leave, to be fair, for reasons I totally understand. but we haven't bowed to player power. he's left more on our terms than his, I would say. as much as I despise Millwall Football Club, I hope he turns into a world beater for em. if they can break into top 6 and he kicks on for Hungary, we're easily looking at £3m+ I reckon. at least I hope that's where they've pitched the release clause.
Not too keen on him going to Millwall but it's still in everyone's interest that he does well. I'd be more than happy to have him back playing for us in the championship next season
Makes no difference how he plays (as long as they want him ofcourse) because there's a buyout clause in his contract... Watch him have a stormer, sells to millwall and then they get like 15 million from a prem club!
They're still all in the championship. Perform well and it's a gateway to much greener pastures (financially...). And they'll already be on more money than they were here
Just watched the Luton game, what a stadium, huge crowd...I'd rather play for Ipswich, Weds, Pompey....
Does that even matter any more? Bournemouth ground is absolutely tiny. They don't care where they play. Playing in the premier league with Bournemouth is better than league one with Wednesday. Theyll be in the shop window, international call ups, on telly every week and a shyt tonne more money.
That’s the thing. If the release clause is at the value we had for him in this window, he either does well and someone gets a bargain, or doesn’t do so well and we’re back to square one next summer. Not convinced by the contract extension to be honest. I hope as a bare minimum we’ve not added any sort of signing on fee or loyalty bonuses that he claims as long as he doesn’t formally request a transfer
He's made a big impression in his first game, reading the Millwall forums. All speaking o]positively about his performance.
Helik showed class. Got on with it and never asked for a transfer. Styles poured his guts.out to the media. Prize *****. If it wasn't for the nature of the deal I'd put a Gypsy's kiss on him.
