Balance is about right but if you didn't go/watch the game I'd recommend watching the extended highlights when they're out as we had several other chances that couldn't fit in a two minute package.

First time in my life I've felt comfortable in the last 10 minutes at Hillsborough knowing we'd win. All achieved by working much harder than the opposition in every area of the pitch.

If only the Thomas shot had gone in, they still brag about the 3-0 game at Oakwell..

Bit more composure on his part and he could have picked his spot for a certain goal. He took it too early I think. 5-0 would not have flattered us.

I'd have loved a matchday recap for this one!

We still do a very similar video, plus an alternative angle video which are both on ifollow. One is basically extended highlights (18 mins long yesterday) without commentary but from our own pitchside camera. Raw. The other is usually around 5 to 8 minutes long, much like a Recap. But we took the comments from fans on board, and we no longer put that sort of video out if we’ve lost.

I’m biased, but our content offering has further improved this season on ifollow, and as of right now, all of it is free if you’ve a basic account. We should really have stuck everything back behind the paywall, and intended to. It’s a fiver a month. But we’ve decided to leave it as is, for now. These are tough times.

I’d rather folk came and got behind the lads at games. Those who went yesterday did that with real gusto. One of the finest performances I’ve watched from a BFC team in my 40 years. Certainly the best Hillsborough showing in my lifetime.

    Gaz would have loved it.

Tough few days but we keep grinding.

    Up the Tykes x

I agree. I set off in the morning expecting a 98th minute defeat with a deflection off Banian’s arse but even before we took the lead I’d never felt more comfortable at The Sty thinking the points were ours.

It wasn’t only their fans that evacuated after 80 minutes, it was their players too. Their defence was shocking and on another day it could have been five.
