So which right wing media hounded Boris out. Just saying. I believe the media especially tv are more left wing. And lets face it tv news people are supposed to be impartial at least to the public. But as they do with all sports or pop stars they buld them upto greatness and then do their utmost to knock them down again. Just saying that in my opinion the media in the UK is crap and are the root of most trouble on which ever side you support

Agreed, remember that the older left wing of the Labour Party are still pretty anti-EU because when the Common Market came into being, the Left saw it as industry bosses clubbing together and attacking workers' rights. Since the advent of the EU, it has actually gone the other way and now protects workers rights far better than the Tories would like. Corbyn is one of those "old Left" politicians and was a startlingly bad choice to be one of the main campaigners for remain, his remain stance was clearly luke warm when on TV debates etc. Seeing this would have made it easier for any wavering working class people to vote leave. Corbyn has a lot to answer for in this respect.

You should read The Guardian or the Independent mate. You can avoid the adverts and reading restrictions on the Guardian by donating. I normally pay £5 and get an ad-free on-line newspaper that tells the news factually. Every 3 months or so they ask me to donate again which I'm very happy to do.

Sorry to disagree but the Guardian is more liberal than labour and is more impartial than the Mail,Torygraph or sun for instance .

Guardian has been Labour since 2015. But thats my point no media is impartial and to give a correct reading to everyone it has to be impartial

Not at all. Centrist or left leaning liberal perhaps, but ‘purely Labour’, definitely not

Never gonna happen , each journalist puts their own stamp on stories even if supposedly being impartial .
Best to hope for on that front is put differences of opinion in same political story which is also probably never gonna happen .

All i can say to you is look it up. But you still miss the point. For any media to tell the proper story they have to be totally impartial and not side with anyone no matter what the individuals working for it believe in

personally don't have much of an issue with journalists being impartial, if the thing they are criticising is fkn evil, which quite frankly, most vile tory policies are

That’s never happened and never will , everyone knows what each tabloid or politics programme stands for , always been the same ,
Laura Kuensberg for instance claims she’s impartial and got the biggest laugh in the history of political journalism , she’s Truss soul mate .
You’re arguing on something that’s never happened and never will .
A tabloid or political programme reflects the politics of the controllers whether intentionally or not (mostly intentionally ) .
There are some that are more biased than others snd the opinion columns of the right leaning tabloids are almost fascistic in their content .
Almost all stories are tainted with political or nationalist leanings some more so than others .

Genuine answer. I would do exactly the same again. The prospect of a Labour government during this same period with the people at the helm of that party I couldn't even contemplate. I like Starmer...seems the most honest MP of the lot, but have no idea what he really stands for. Going forward I'll see how the country recovers..and it will . Hard times I'm afraid

Yeah - can you imagine where we’d be now if Corbyn had renationalised the energy grid

you don’t need much imagination to see how the country would have done under Labour, we’ve plenty of neighbours with left of centre governments and they’re all outperforming the bunch of fascists we’ve got in charge.
