Just called out AJ, wants the fight in December. If he doesn't accept they move onto someone else

    Usyk will be next year

Yawn. It begins. He was retired for ever, for good, a few weeks ago. Now he’s calling everyone out, but only for a billionty quid. Just get on with it. Personally think the AJ fight is pointless now, on a boxing level. AJs chances reduced to even less of a punchers chance than he had against Usyk, twice. I’d absolutely love to see the Usyk fight though. Possibly the only time Fury will come up against someone that can match him from a boxing pov. Not sure it would make a great spectacle, cos we now also now Usyk doesn’t have the power to knock him over. So probably Tyson just keeps him at range, picks him off and wins unanimous points. Would be interesting to see him meet his match on a boxing level though.

AJ would be stupid not to accept. He could be two wins from being undisputed if you include finally getting a win against Usyk when it mattered most.

I've got as much chance of beating both Fury and Usyk as AJ.

He’s called him out to basically make a mockery of him, show him up embarrass him

He’s as sure as he can be that AJ won’t except.
And then he will just revel in piling on him on social media for turning the fight down after going on for years about wanting to fight him.

coming off two loses the done thing is to have a for better word one probably two warm up fights that your sure in your own mind you can win to build your confidence back up.

he will be advised not to take it and I would be stunned if he took the fight

Wasn't ruiz supposed to be a sure thing? Different reasons I know, but given the time and fitness Ruiz was in...

i don’t think he “really “ believes he can beat fury
That’s what all that speech was about.
Not as experienced as them as in number of fights wise
He’s still or thinks he’s still learning in his own head
Many people though think he has found/hit his ceiling

    Ruiz ruined him
    He’s scared to commit now
For fear of being caught .

he’s signed a mega deal with DAZN
They wont even have the rights if he fights fury.

who wants to see or is going to pay for pay per view of AJ V White fight or similar ilk

AJ v WIlder fight is only interesting one for me
Just for the reason of wilder starching him if connects
And for that reason don’t think AJ would really fancy fighting him

Can't really see AJ wanting to fight anyone this year. He's shot. I doubt very much he can beat wilder. He's zero chance of beating Fury as well. I suppose the winner of Parker Joyce could that happen ? Wouldn't mind seeing him against delboy

Bit of back and forth on twitter between the pair of them now. I hope this fight is made. Despite Joshua’s defeats, he’s still a very relevant heavyweight in this era who I’d like to see Fury take on. Just to put that one to bed, I guess. If Tyson ends his career without fighting AJ, I’d feel a little short changed. Just as I’d like to see Wilder versus AJ too.

Just because a boxer loses a fight, it shouldn’t mean they’re irrelevant.

I just don’t believe anything until I see it in this game. I don’t see Joshua accepting whatever the split will be. I don’t see DAZN and BT/ESPN figuring out their sides of the bargain. Warren and Hearn at each other’s throats. But time will tell. Because if it was to be in December, something needs finalising asap.

Still think AJ will fight Whyte (pointless) and Fury vs someone like Charr or Kabayel (pointless).

Might end Joshua once and for all and put him in the Audrey Harrison and Williams class.

AJ is levels above either of those men. He’s been heavyweight champion for years, fought all-comers, other than Wilder and Fury. A great ambassador for boxing on these shores who has undoubtedly inspired millions.

I think he’s got a better chance against Fury than he ever had against Usyk. He’s nothing to lose either. It’s not a straight forward fight and I say that as a huge Fury fan.

Well would you Adam and Eve it!!!

Hearn on Talksport saying he doesn't think they are serious, says they already have a plan to fight in December and he can't fight any earlier than that.

An hour later Frank Warren, proposal is to fight in NOVEMBER

It's a farce, just crack on agree a date in December and give the fans what they want

It’s nonsense. Fury & his team know both Joshua & Usyk aren’t going to have two huge fights in the space of four months.

It’s just them putting offers out there so they can justify Agit Kabayel as an opponent who’s signed with Fury’s promoters top rank & has crept into the top 15 of the WBC rankings.

Kabayel’s not a bad fighter just a massive unknown to almost everyone, he completely outboxed Chisora & made it look far easier than everyone except Haye & Fury (second time) did but you have to question his ambition. Not fought anyone with a pulse since Chisora & it feels like he’s just after one big pay day. Also all of his strengths are Fury’s strengths & Tyson has huge height & reach advantages on him. I’d expect a wide points win or late stoppage.

Don’t get your hopes up about a Fury-Joshua fight, certainly not in December anyway.

Fury-Usyk in May ish 2023. And Fury - Joshua happens somewhere down the line whether Tyson defeats Usyk or not after Joshua comes back with a win against someone like Dillian Whyte.

Joshua’s far from been done. If they can recycle Chisora umpteen times they can certainly keep bringing AJ back. Whyte 2, Fury & Wilder fights are all massive.

I was dubious as well but I think this genuinely has an incredible chance of happening. And it will do close to 2 million PPV buys in this country.

The 60/40 split has been accepted and the 17th December is on hold in Cardiff. Fury has issued the challenge, AJ has said he wants the fight in December, and they've even agreed the rematch split (moving 60/40 in the opposite direction if it happens).

Will never believe it's happening until it's signed, but I'm slowly coming round to this being a serious negotiation. Even got BT and DAZN speaking to each other already about the shared PPV.

Fair play to all involved if this comes off.

Can see them charging £50 or something for PPV though.

What is it these days? £25?

We're way behind the US in terms of PPV cost ($80-£100 there). I don't see them putting it up as much as that given everything going on right now. But I could see it being made a few pound more knowing how many casuals will buy it.

    Ticket prices will be eye-watering.

I think Sky charged £29.95 for AJ vs Usyk 2 so it’ll probably be that or an extra £5.

Ticket prices cheapest will be about £120.
