Just thought it worth a brief post to say a final thank you to those of you from the BBS who have been kind enough to have sent messages of support and sponsorship. Currently raised £1920 Inc gift aid, all towards the Poppy Appeal. Arrived in Paris on Sunday after 4 days cycling from Eltham Palace London - 295 miles, 13500ft of climbing, 1 partially torn quads muscle and a rear tyre blow out. Fun and powerful in equal measure, met some inspirational folk from the armed forces and elsewhere, including a blinded former Sapper (who rode on a tandem!) and a former Paratrooper who lost most of his left leg. And at our table on the Sunday evening celebration dinner, I managed to raise a toast to Cunning Stunt with our first drink, he was a staunch supporter of Remembrance and I'd heard the news of his passing earlier on during the ride and he was very much in my thoughts when we rode to the finish at the Arc de Triomphe. www.justgiving.com/AndyHardy2022 Thank you again. Andy.
Fantastic mate. I’m full of admiration for your efforts, superb. Hope you can manage to limp down to Oakwell on Saturday. See you in the Ponty
