I’ve already named one in answer to your first post in this thread; you ignored it, despite me asking what you thought.
Of course I'm not, you plank. Hence the asterisk and a the tongue in cheek comment. Although there's an argument to he made that Fred West was responsible for less deaths. Nice of you to ignore the question though.
2 things. there’s no e in Royal (also you missed the capital) That sentence showed as big a lack of respect as anything I’ve read here. Secondly; it’s not an agenda, I have an awful lot of respect for the queen, and rarely describe myself as a Republican because I wished her no ill will. However, to deny her faults, to defend the racism or sex crimes is barbaric. It doesn’t make people ‘respectful’ it makes them obsequious.
Whatever your views on the Monarchy be they anti, pro, anarchist, sycophant, I cannot help but think, as a species, especially as we go through life we need 'constants'. be they people, events or places. For me, being born a year after the coronation, the Queen has been one such constant. Things like , Wimbledon fortnight, The Derby, the Boat Race, Test cricket, Xmas, Easter holidays, etc provide some sort of 'life compass' and reassurance. History, and tradition does serve a purpose for many hence the 'need' for many to preserve old buildings, many of which are well past their 'use by' date and which would be cheaper to demolish and replace . But we don't. The FA Cup was always the last match of the season. Football matches were almost all played on a Saturday at 3pm regardless of the Division. Sky changed all that and it has never been the same since.
One main point is at no point was i referring to you or engaging in conversation you just keep butting in as always
It was a stupid comment though i said have some respect then you butt in with well what about fred west can we say bad about him.... jesus the title is the QUEEN has died. You showed what sort of a person you are when you got banned for abusing that sunderland fan telling him to **** off to his own forum.
Jeezus. Now folk are falling out over a dead Queen. Some of you lot could start a ruck in an empty house..

Firstly, it was a Luton fan. Secondly, as I explained to you when you obsessively brought this up the other month my Dad had just died, and I wasn't in a great space. I received my suspension and apologised to the poster and to admin. My apology was accepted. Thirdly, thanks for bringing this up again. It reminds me of my Dad dying. Which makes me feel great. So you can **** off as well. And once you've finished ******* off, go **** off some more.
This thread... only on the BBS... I'm not a big royalist by any stretch, but we must have a bit of respect for the dead. It's a common courtesy that I like to think we're all entitled to. I don't think she was an evil woman, far from it. Maybe flawed to some. Some dislike her for her status (I get that, but doesn't make her a bad person). My grandmother, who was the same age, adored her. She worked a lot harder than a lot of us here ever will. I accept and respect that. Life's short. Death comes to us all. Something I'm learning more and more as I get older is that, spending time spouting bile about people I've never met, who I only 'know' through the media, is really quite infantile and a unfortunate insight into my own character. Something I hope to work on. She was a human being, like the rest of us. Not perfect. Let her rest in peace. If you haven't anything nice to say, maybe just don't.
SOME on here haven't got a good word about anything, you can't have an opinion, well you can if it's same as their's. I despair on this board sometimes and it used to be a great board to come on.
To be fair there seem to be very few that are too far apart on this issue. Most seem to be of the show a little respect, discuss things at a more appropriate time point of view. Just one or two looking to create a row.
& so publicly? Why don't they have their domestic tiffs behind closed doors? It's the virtual equivalent of arguing in the street..
