The freshly pressed olive oil shop & deli is a dead give away. Sad to lose George from the board, but I heard he had a flounce over the flatbreads, which was the straw that broke the camel's back, so to speak.
Ever the entrepreneur I heard he had opened a pop up flower stall on The Mall with a small dining area behind where he can hopefully get rid of his olive stock before they went out of date.
Norman Tebbit would be so proud. I heard him & George cycled down on their trIcycle with trailer from Dundee to greet the thronging crowd on the Mall. Hope he's sporting a BFC top & union jack shorts.
1 & 2 should merge to form one club? 2 has the nicer stadium so keep that one. The other could make a nice training ground like Oakwell. Just a thought..
If he's making as much money as the Darling Buds of Windsor pop up flower stall in Peascod Street in Windsor he'll be quids in. People paying 7 quid for 4 flowers and they were doing a roaring trade. Silly shoppers should have gone to Tesco express down the road for a much bigger bunch about the same price
What would the fans think to the idea Ian. By selling off one ground and sharing facilities would surely boost revenue for both clubs. I get the traditional side of it. But it works at other clubs in Europe. Without it seems, many if any issues.
Harsh but true at the moment mate but we have both had our day in the past. Both clubs have played in a European Cup semi final. One in a UEFA cup final. And both clubs have won Scottish league, cup and league cup. But whether these days will ever return is debatable but we live in hope.
