That really grinds my gears. Replacing a letter - the correct letter i.e. the way it is actually spelt and should be used - with another letter and just using that*. It's a bit like the co-commentator on iFollow saying Luca Kinell. It's Connell. *If in Italy/an Italian-owned bar/cafe in England and you want an espresso, just ask for a coffee - 'un caffe'. Be prepared for them to think you are Italian however, and you will likely look perplexed as they start to converse with you (I'm sure they charged me half-price when i asked for it in Italian in a cafe in Bristol). Happened to me a few times
This thread has taught me something about myself. Turns out there isn’t anything that slightly irritates me. I either don’t care, or despise it passionately.
