    Williams was excellent for us, I thought. I was very surprised we didn't do more to keep him.

    It’s weird as we used to come up to Barnsley games together when George was with us but Saturday we’ll be supporting different teams

    Didn't his agent stick his neck out for an extra 100 quid a week, and BFC withdrew the offer.

    He was good for us in that promotion push. Not sure he would have got a look in had we kept him we had bree coming through and then signed andy yiadom.

    Not sure i thought hecky decided against signing him but we offered him a ***** deal so when another club came in we got something we then decided to withdraw this and let him go.

    So sat on my hands for 90 mins plus. Big Macca was in the lounge but I didn’t want to interrupt his lunch. George’s dad loves Barnsley . George came in after game and was impressed with us . I’ll bring his dad up for game in Feb
