No preview for this because nobody's really arsed to know that Newcastle u21s are a mid-table 2nd tier kids team.

They lost to a Doncaster reserve team on penalties in the first game in the group, after a 0-0 draw.

Fancy us to rotate, maybe give some of the loanees a start.

2-0 reds, could be anyone on the scoresheet.

Score prediction this season is so far proving very difficult due to our inconsistency so I'll go for 5-0 defeat in the "couldn't care less" trophy.

Hope we stuff em 10-0, I don’t agree that they should be in the competition, and I get great pleasure when I see any of them have lost (yes even if they’re playing Sheffield Weds) Imagine 2 Prem u21s in a Final of a competition that was designed to allow to L1and L2 clubs a realistic chance of playing in a Wembley Final.Edit: Oops nearly forgot my score prediction, 3-1 the Reds

Very little interest tbh. I just hope we don’t risk any of our first xi

I mean the competition held little interest for most anyway but they totally killed it when they did this. Were the clubs paid off to accept? Or was it just brought in?
I'd put our Youth team out to play against their Youth team.

I could have named 20 players and still not picked the two goalscorers I reckon.
