I’m wanting a device that I can use as a onestop media centre, I know lots of different network devices are available and also media boxes but I’m wanting to know if there’s something I can run my virgin media through, my fire stick through and maybe also incorporate a dvd player and have it all one device running through the one hdmi. Currently I have a hdmi splitter but in all honesty they are crap plus I haven’t enough plugs available for the dvd player so have to swap out and it’s quite frankly tedious

any help or suggestions would be appreciated

also I know dvds are so 2000 but I’ve amassed that many over the years seems a shame to bin them all

Either buy a switching device or a cheap AV receiver. In all cases, that will be 1 HDMI in and all your other devices plug into the back of it.

I have a switching device but 1 I find they don’t work very well and 2 I want to get rid of all the clutter and just have 1 device not 2/3/4 separate boxes

Like the other post said another option would be an AV receiver but they're not cheap although you can buy 2nd hand. Thing is then you are wasting what they are really designed for and that's the surround sound unless you plan on getting some speakers too
