Thankyou for the update Gally. I'll reserve judgement until I read the more detailed report at some point. It's disappointing to here that despite offloading key players we still need such a large cash injection to tide us over but welcoming that they are willing to cover that, however we do not know the terms of that injection yet so it's hard to really make much of a judgement.

Its a little baffling that Lee and Conway have agreed to give extra investment too but then is it £1m shared between them all? In which case doesn't that mean someone like JAQs husband or Paul Conway has only injected a few thousand?

Conway and Hung (and any other hangers on from PML) own 7.5% and so their share of the £1m collectively would be £75,000. Let's assume Conway owns half of the 7.5% - that would mean he had to put £37,500 in. That's probably less than his cut of the Oulare deal (allegedly :D) alone.

They did get the going rate. The going rate is what other clubs are willing to pay. That's why we held back selling Helik until the last day of the window and decided we hadn't been offered enough for Styles.

Don’t believe you’ve ever been to Oakwell. You’re a self confessed liar

The problem with the information provided last night is that it’s caused more questions than answers. This is down to poor communication generally from the Club at board level

If we had better comms (take the Preston example); fan representation on the board and / or a shadow board (like Donny and others following the Crouch review) this would improve the situation. Alas none of these things are likely to happen it would seem

It would also be a massive improvement in providing transparency of the work going on as well, and could help build bridges and *most importantly* trust with the fans

Fans don’t need to know everything, but digesting smaller, more regular updates is much easier than this information dump coming out second hand

Any information coming out of a non-recorded event is always subject to mis interpretation and speculation, not least as it ends up in written format like this - completely out of context

I’m not sure an individual shirt makes a difference but this attitude makes no sense.

One of the posts on here set me thinking about the court case and the strange amount of £4.3m.

Maybe just maybe there is an explanation of the payment. So originally £1m went in through a right issue leaving £3.3m more.

The amount owing from the new owners to the Crynes shown in Oakwell Holding accounts is £2.75m.

Now suppose you wanted to sort this out and agreed that the payment could go into BFC and the Cryne’s agreed to match that injection with a pro rata amount in line with their shareholding?

That would give £2.75m plus £550k. £3.3m plus the original million takes us to £4.3m.

As i said all supposition and i was pondering walking the dogs this morning.
