Thanks Loko and all at BFCST for doing this - it's great for those of us who live far away to get a comprehensive update on these meetings.

Good read that. Interesting that early kick offs could happen, which I wouldn't mind. If it saves the club much needed funds then it's a good thing.

Thanks Loko. I for one read that and felt a positive vibe from it. Did it feel like that in the room?
All very sensible down to earth answers. Couldn't ask for more. Cheers.

    Great write-up. Thanks, Loko.

Seems pretty positive overall. Words are just that, but have to say I'm feeling more positive as a result.

Thanks Loko.It sounds like it was a very positive meeting with very little if any reason to find fault.
Apologising for past errors with a determination to improve things going forward.

All this begs the question "what on earth were Conman and Lee playing at"?

    Thanks Loko...great info.
    • The biggest motivation for making the change was that the club ‘wasn’t being run well, either for the community, or on the playing side, and the board of directors you see today just weren’t happy with the way things were going’
That's the main thing I got from that.

It may be just me, but can you clarify the fifth bullet point? Are Khaled and Rob on the Board, or just the other 4 names?

It doesn't make any difference to me, but I just wanted to know.

EDIT: I have just finished reading the document and I wanted to say a big thanks to @Loko the Tyke and also the positive and forward-looking feedback from the board and management team.

Thanks to you Loko and the rest of the people who participated in this event.
It's a great read and a good summary of where we are and in which direction we're heading.
I always try and be positive in an optimistic, glass half full kind of way. I also try and preach patience and perspective whenever the feeding frenzies start on here; so that's what I was looking for from the meeting. Something which reflected what I want from my club; and it aabsolutely does that:

    More stability.
    A "can do" attitude.
Respect for our community and history.
    Creative ideas, and innovation.
Recognitionof the importance of the playing side.
A good strong moral outlook( eg Hex and JAQs statement on the sexist chanting).
Beyond that, a CEO ( the much maligned Khaled) who, despite all the negativity and appalling comments he's had on here, is on the same page as our Head Coach.
A Head Coach who is on board with the board.
Patience.......great words from Neerav re the fact it will take time.
Admitting mistakes and pledging to rectify them.
Honesty re the complexities of transfer deals.
    Clear communication.
    Etcetera etcetera........

For anyone reading that report who views this club as anything other than positive I think I'd be saying to them that they should be looking to do something else with their Saturday afternoons.
....and if any "glass half empty" fans out there want to label me as just another happy clapper...........please don't confuse me with anyone that gives a **** about that label.
    UTR.

All sounds pretty positive but I can feel the weight of expectation on Michael Duff's shoulders.

I think a lot of the future depends on him getting a tune out of this team and getting us back in the championship. Fingers crossed he can deliver.

Totally agree with your assessment, apart from the fact it may be "something else with their Saturday lunchtimes" now, or in my case, getting up at 3:45 in the morning. :)

Very disappointing but not surprising that Khaled seemingly refuses to accept any failures on his part and passes the buck constantly. Then again they all seem to be experts at that. The hex **** up was a minor detail but look how well they cancelled it (after people forced them to of course).

JAQ seems unable to grasp that some fans aren't all fans. The fans were chanting at the physio. No some were. The fans tweet her. No some do.

Still at least they've said they'll improve the catering again. They've never said that before have they...

A good read that & I believe it is an honest report. We were in a mess & we are not out of the woods as yet. Performance on the pitch is always key & appointing Duff has been massive.

There have been mistakes, like Hex as sponsors, but they actually listened. Not sure what the contractual issues are regarding bar / catering, but that seems to be something that has been static for at least 10 years.

A better relationship with the council sounds positive & a new lease. I really can't see any change there unless there is some massive investment. No chance of attracting anyone reliable at the minute, so let's put that to bed. West Stand fans still have their seats. Given the "safe standing" protocol that is an area I think could be worked on in future, but for now, let's concentrate on what we have.

They paid to get in the ground. What was chanted was unacceptable.

I agree she may not have a background in football, but some things need calling out. We have a minority of idiots in our fan base that need to behave, (we always have), or they need to be banned. I don't do Twitter myself as you get a disproportionate number of morons venting. Getting that abuse cannot be pleasant.

I'm sure you are not defending them, but unsure what your agenda is on that one TBH.
