    Sounds like things were pretty bad from what JAQ said, got the impression if Conway and Lee had stayed on much longer we'd have ended up without a club.

    My mate at work’s a blades fan. He went to Warnock’s audience with show at Sheffield City Hall. Colin said it was the only job he’d have come out of retirement for, wasn’t asked, and would have kept us up. Direct quotes from on stage.

    Excellent post.

    I'm no happy clapper either, but I will support the team, the players and the club in general. I've been critical of some players when I feel it's been warranted but I'm happy to accept when my mind is being changed. Good examples being Benson and Cole, both of whom I felt had served their time at Oakwell and should be allowed to leave to free up places for other people.

    If the board are genuinely looking to take the steps they say in that interview I think we may have a positive future and one which I'm happy to bide my time for.

    I'd also say that if we were in the bottom 4 & playing crap football I would be the first to be complaining. I think we are 5th & have won 3 games back to back?

    I'm on the happy clapper side, but anyone who knows me & has read many of my posts last season I wasn't. I'm a fan. I have at times unrealistic expectations. Same as other fans. Yer pays her money. If it is shiite you complain, you don'y complain if it is sunny though...

    Wasn't discussed at the meeting and we did try and raise it but I'd expect a new lease agreement would also come with an agreement from the council for funding for ground improvements. How big this ends up being is part of the negotiations I'd expect (and probably directly effects what the rent would be going forward)

    All the right things said. But they are also largely the same things that were said five years ago, minus any immediate aspiration to buy the ground. I guess only time will tell whether this incarnation of the Board will honour those intentions any better.

    We don't need a striker because were doing well at the moment....... Let's hope we keep up the good results then.

    Khaled rates his performance as average and takes zero responsibility. Conway mk 2 right there. Still showing total disregard to the fans. He needs replacing ASAP.
