A think our bench is looking really good now, we have players who can come off the bench and make a big impact on the game.......without getting carried away a think our squad will be massive over the next few months. We’ve gone from folk saying we’re crap and not good enough for the league to having a great XI plus some very good substitutes........whatever MD has said or done to the squad is absolutely immense
Players weren't a bad bunch last year, just very badly trained and coached by the look of it. Remember watching us warm up away at Blackpool last year, and it looked so regimented and dull.
We're a league lower and that makes a significant difference. Admittedly, we look a lot more motivated now too and much better organised, and I don't believe that with our current manager we would have gone down without so much as a whimper last season, but neither do I think a strike force of Cole and Norwood would be making too much of an impression in the Championship, and several others in the squad would be finding the going pretty tough.
I'm talking about ones we had last year in the championship- decent players who were very badly coached. This is virtually a new team
