So the Crynes are paid in full what they are owed from the sale of their shares and the legal case the Crynes had started against the newer owners has been dropped. Harmony in the board room. I imagine Lee and Conway arnt too pleased with that outcome
I think that the ground issue was that the consortium didn't think they could get clear title on the ground if they purchased it. I guess the argument was that the orinigal agreement factored the ground sale option into the club's price.
Conman is going to have to find another club to add to his pyramid/ponzi scheme to pay the Cryne family from. I can't help but think though the timing is to take the spotlight off U Turn Liz
What, if anything, does this mean for the £750k that was paid (incorrectly, in the opinion of many supporters) to the Cryne family from the club's accounts? Has that been consigned to history?
I don't see what's changed/improved,other than an agreement to pay what was originally agreed at point of sale and the repayment schedule starts next year. Still the same owners, share percentage, board of directors. Possibly an agreement not to challenge anyone's shareholding and keep things as they are. A byproduct of the new share issue, which seems to have strengthened the larger shareholders. The statement doesn't reveal anything other than they won't be facing each other in court.
I’ll be honest, I don’t understand what this means in real terms, and if/how this is a good or bad thing…beyond the obvious fact that the Cryne’s should be paid what they’re owed
Yes it is just that. But that’s an improvement on the court case surely? And is the movement round this the source of last weeks rumours of a new owner?
Good news only people who benefit from it going to court are lawyers the situation isn't ideal but this is the best we do hope for.
