    All BMBC car parks are free it says for 3hrs just get a ticket by pressing button but always expire after 5hrs on the time on ticket. Hope that makes sense we park op by Morrison bit of a up hill trek back but easy to get away

    Can you park in Asda car park , I know it's a bit of a trek but I'm heading that way out or Barnsley back to Wakefield so I'd miss all town traffic then . I've heard before they get a bit snotty with ya if ya park there

    What about one of the roads leading off of Huddersfield Road? It's about a 15-20 minute walk, and you'd be well placed for a quick getaway to motorway or wherever, via Gawber/Poggy.

    I think last year they’ve put signs up saying shoppers only and vehicles monitoring car park.
