You've every right to be pissed off mate. It's all well and good saying we'll lose games it's the nature of the beast etc. However, the three games we've dropped points at home should have been bread and butter wins. We'll be alright playing teams that do know their arsehole from their elbow. Sounds arrogant but winners generally are. We need some oomph.
I was just disappointed that Exeter kept going the full 90 minutes and we didn't even get started. Even at the end we weren't full.on chasing to get the ball, we'd given up!
Wycombe was a bad 2nd half lol. And Ponty, err we don't want to see you running around with anything hanging out tahh very much. This is a huge negative over reaction today, and I think its especially unfair on Josh Benson. Duff will pick us up from this and we'll win some again, and then there will be more disappointments like today again, etc. But on the whole, this has been a good season so far and this game today hasn't ruined that.
First game of season (in person) for me today. Girlfriend still yet to see us win so that was a shame. We were awful today, but we have had some great results already this season. Not getting the basics right was hard to watch. But that's football, some games are good, some games are rough. The music coming on randomly in the second half was funny, lifted the spirits. And i got to meet @John Peachy today, a top bloke, so not all bad.
No and I never said it was. But some fans reactions to a few of our defeats this season have been way over the top, and I also do it as well to be honest. Its still been a good season though so far, a lot better than expected in fairness.
It's who we've lost to though mate. The games only get more difficult. I'm not panicking and think Duff is immense but today is a terrible result.
No need to panic, I don't think we'll be in a relegation battle, but by the same token I don't think we'll be worrying the top six, unless some good business is done in January.
There is that annoying side to it I suppose, against teams who we think we should be beating. How can we get 4 pts away at Ipswich & Sheff Wensdy for example, but 0 pts at home to Wycombe & Exeter. The inconsistency will continue, but as long as this board don't tear the team up with another fire sale in January, I think its going to be an exciting season for us. And we needed it after last seasons shower of rat sh*t!.
I think Duff 'll ba llack em' mate. If I were you I'd write a letter to them. You might get your £84 quid back. Your Opening post had some feeling. It might resonate. ( Not saying it's about money btw).
Likewise Luke @Redarmy87 ... good to meet you too. Not much to say positive about the match. We lacked Thomas' running & energy today.
End of the day, we've been ok this season, I predicted new manager syndrome with Exeter and it looks that way. We dust ourselves down, learn the lessons and move on to the next game.
