Would be good to see one or two of his sponsors drop him. At least make his arrogant stupidity cost him a few quid.
If he's been hacked then it's by the worse hacker ever. Surely the hacker would change the sign up email address so Iker couldn't get it back, especially within an hour and the hacker will now release lots of DMs that they will have screenshotted to share....
Legally, iirc he would have to prove he was hacked if his account was used to post something that broke the law. He would be responsible for any postings made from it.
I spoke to a bank manager. You've to be really careful with claiming skulduggery. She told me they had someone claiming their phone had been stolen and people had been using their phone on betting accounts. It opened up a can of worms and the customer got into trouble for trying to defraud the bank.
In this case, its nowt major. But imagine he'd done a racism or a hate-speech and then claimed hacking. He would be liable unless he can prove otherwise.
Ok, so don't say anything then, if you genuinely don't care. Many people will find this grossly offensive. The number (or lack of) gay footballers is a significant issue that highlights problems in the social world surrounding football. Until Jake Daniels came out at Blackpool earlier this year, there hasn't been an active pro out of the closet since Justin Fashanu 40 years earlier. Statistically, that's impossible, or it's just that any gay footballer does not believe it in their interest to come out, potentially for many reasons, but likely many of them negative (bullying, crowd abuse, loss of sponsorship etc). Casillas doing it 'as a joke', or when hacked (would that be your first target as a hacker?) furthers this stigma. It shouldn't be normal that in 2022, people feel the need to hide their sexuality. It's also frustrating to see people dismiss it as 'not my business' or 'I don't care'. That gives off a real 'I'm alright Jack' mentality. You might be trying to imply that you personally don't have an issue with people being gay, but someone coming out is a big deal. Having someone with Casillas's platform turn it into a joke makes it harder to do and less likely to happen. Personally, I think Jake Daniels is brave as **** for what he's done, and he needs support from the football community for being that first person to come forward. To dismiss others as irrelevant or not of interest is uncaring at best and just nasty at worst.
