    It was on the local and national news bulletins on both ITV and BBC yesterday evening. You must have had your eyes and ears shut.

    What is wrong with that statement. Is calling out the Israel govt for their treatment of the Palestinians anti-semitic, yes or no. Is saying something negative about the Jewish people in general anti-semitic, yes or no. Just to be clear I am not eminently qualified in anything. Are you saying I am a racist because of those two statements.

    Criticising the actions of the Israeli government is not anti semitic though some would try to argue that it is.
    It's like saying critising Boris Johnson's government makes you a racist too.

    OK i'll have another go. Don't have sky anymore or BT sport or listen to news through the internet ( no facebook, twitter etc etc ) caught 1089 talksport say breaking news apology issued for historic comments about Jewish people so as my main access to news is BBC /Look north decided to catch the story. Stuck TV on at 5.55pm when the BBC/look north like to advertise their upcoming stories with a leader of the main reports to be covered at which point this story got no mention by either party. I never said it wasn't reported or that it didn't get covered I said it appeared unfair that it wasn't deemed to be up there with the main points of the day which in my opinion it was and is still my opinion. no comments on glass houses, no us and them, no shoes on feet or denial that YCCC should be taken to task for not dealing with the issue when it was reported purely the original post that this revelation on the balance of reporting fairness warranted a lead which it didn't get. My opinion which you obviously disagree with which is fine as I respect your right to your opinion....

    No a national newspaper reporting what many different people have told them. Just because he was awfully racial abused doesn't mean he's a saint. I'm sure people connected with Barnsley Cricket Club could say what he's like.

    Nobody ever said he was a nice bloke. He isn't. But that doesn't mean that he deserves racial abuse.

    And FWIW the names mentioned in that Mail article are a Rogues Gallery of wnkers in local cricket. You only have to have a little gander at Andy Frogett's twitter feed to notice that he wnks himself silly to Farage, and he's a proper "send em back" merchant.

    There's an article from George Dobell that mentions that Azeem and his family are essentially fleeing the country - his own and his parent's home have been targeted by vandalls etc.

    It's been a grim, grim affair.

    The Israelis have it off to a fine art' "anyone crticising us is antisemitic" its a nonsense' did we then criticise sadaam hussain and gaddafi because we're islamophobic?. The way i see it the situation with Israel and palastine is not very different to the Russia Ukraine war' a bully country decides to attempt a land grab because they say it belongs to them' the difference being in one conflict we support the bullied and on the other seem to support the bully..

    No he didn't. It was the club's failure to deal with racism and bullying accusations in a timely manner that's caused all the furore Unacceptable from Yorkshire CCC , as simple as that. It shouldn't have got as far as threats to withdraw international matches for them to get their club in order.

    Bad things done by one person do not mean it's ok to pretend others didn't do bad things too

    You appear to be suggesting that because he appears to be a bad person that it's ok for other people at Yorkshire to be racist which is a bit like saying that because Rolf Harris is a nonce then the BBC was right not to do anything about Jimmy savile
