Should Coltrane's jockey have taken one for the team when he headed Trueshan and started to rear towards the rail. As opposed to sportingly correcting him and allowing Trueshan the win? Balding didn't look too happy after the race.
Kevin Blake says it best. There's going to be a real tragedy soon imo. I'm glad Coltrane's jockey rode respectfully. https://m.attheraces.com/blogs/kevi...rules-has-to-change-before-there-is-a-tragedy
Well in the light of what Soumillon did in France a week or two ago (and the lengthy ban he got, albeit in a different jurisdiction), I think not!
Coltrane ran a great race Mr D. Hollie's a tough cookie in a finish though! I'm liking Montathan in the last (4.40). But I'd also have to back Bashkirova, who has won at a higher level. Haggas fancies a Trainers' Title!
Shouldn't thread title be just 'FAO Orsenkaht'? Otherwise it's for attention of of Orsenkaht. Some people think I'm overly-pedantic.
Happy to say I backed Bay Bridge. Thought it was an each way steal back on its favoured soft ground. Last 2 races have been on good to firmish ground after which he was given 3 months off until he got the right conditions. Backed Kinross as well though 4 losers put a dent in the profits Putting Migration in the notebook as well, not one of William Buicks better efforts though I still think he's a great jockey
