Reminds me of my daughter putting a pizza in the oven still with the polystyrene base attached.
And she is a teacher. Not of home economics I may add.

I know someone who put a Xmas Pudding in the microwave on Xmas Day afternoon. She read the instructions on the packing and chose to ignore them.....

    "Microwave for 1 minute...."

Can't be right she said. It'll be at least 10 minutes. Nearly burnt the ******** house down....:)

Talking of pizzas, someone once told me that she went to a chippy after a boozy night out somewhere in Scotland which had pizza on the menu. Upon ordering the said pizza, the chippy man took it out of the freezer, removed the cellophane, and lobbed it into the deep fat fryer for three minutes. Once he'd decided it was ready, he fished it out and handed it to her. Obviously the base had soaked up all the oil like a sponge, and the cheese resembled burnt plastic. I was absolutely sure she was winding me up, but she swears it happened!

Everything goes in that deep fat fryer.
BTW that chippy could have been anywhere in Scotland.

I've just Googled it as struggled to believe that such a thing actually exists. I nearly vomited when I saw the pictures.

On a similar note, don't assume all chickens are "bake in the bag" like I did once. The clingfilm stuff melts and makes a bit of a mess...
