What a load of rubbish. Making it tougher for fans to go watch a league game, so it doesn't clash with a day where England may or may not have a game on.

That is an absolute total ******* disgrace. Who on earth makes these decisions rubbing fans' faces in the dirt like we are total trash?

The date of the World Cup fixtures have been known for literally months. If they were going to make a change why couldn't they get off their backsides and do it before train tickets and the like go on sale so people who like me have now already paid out for tickets on 3rd December are not going to see their money totally wasted. The only bit of disposable money I have goes on watching the Reds and this is just treating us with contempt.

(England are only involved in a game on the 3rd December if they come second in the group and if they can't win a group of Iran, USA and Wales they aren't worth watching anyway).

FFS - I was planning to go to that one - getting to Peterborough for a Friday Night match is a total none starter so I now cant go and I am sure I am not the only one

I reckon the attendance will be less than if they played at 3pm on Saturday whether or not England have a match on

Its a disgrace , once again the fans are treated like sh-t , there is absolutely no financial gain by switching the match just inconvenience , especially for the away fans .

FFS, that's annoying! A localish game for me, will probably still be able to make it, but Pboro on a freezing wet Dec night is even less appealing than it was on a freezing wet Dec Saturday afternoon. Hopefully they've paid the leccy this time.

    So that means:

    A. Anyone working
    B. Anyone getting the train

Will have to miss this. Solely because England might have a game on the Saturday, which realistically few of us would put ahead of the Reds and no doubt Posh fans will be the same. Did both clubs have to agree to this?

I think it`s not just our fixture that`s been changed, but that doesnt make it right.

Our statement doesn't say so but the Peterborough one says that "both clubs agreed".

I'm livid - I made the decision to buy train tickets in full knowledge of there being a possible England game on the Saturday if they are bad enough to finish second in the group and to be honest couldn't give two hoots if there's a clash. And that's from someone who followed England all over the World for 30 years.

Can someone in the Supporters Trust make some representations on this?

Just looked and so far only 4 league one games have been moved to Friday night
On Saturday Derby v Massives is a 12:30 KO but I dont know it thats due to the WC or was moved anyway
All the rest are still at 3pm

I dont understand why we would agree to move it or do the club staff and players want to watch the England game if its on that day

I've done a bit of digging too. There are currently three other games that have been moved to the Friday night. What I've found has shocked me and made me even more livid at BFC.

Bolton Wanderers v Bristol Rovers was moved on 20th September
Morecambe v Exeter was moved on 7th JULY!!!!
Plymouth v Port Vale was moved on 5th JULY!!!!

There is absolutely no excuse for clubs leaving it this late to move games whatsoever.

Hope our club are made to answer to this. They have done what they want without a care for the fans. They keeping screwing up time after time. They should compensate fans losing money though something that isn't their fault.

They won't. It will all be Peterborough's fault.

Moving the game FOUR MONTHS after the fixtures came out is indefensible and shows a complete disregard for supporters.

Then again an emergency exit sign fell off and has been missing in the stadium since march and nobody has replaced it (despite it lying in the mud next to the pitch for a month before being moved) so I'm not surprised that they don't pick up on little things like fixtures.
