The first league meeting between us and the shrimps, who have been in the league for 15 years, and are in only their 2nd league 1 season. After a relatively successful season last year, which saw them finish 19th, their highest ever league position, Morecambe have started this season slowly. They've amassed 8 points from 13 league games so far, registering only 2 points on home turf. They started the season with 2 home draws, but have since been defeated by MK Dons, Cambridge, Sheffield Wednesday and Ipswich. So they have had a difficult run of fixtures at home. Away from home, we are now unbeaten in 6 in all competitions, and haven't conceded a goal on our travels in the league in 380 minutes. Our overall head to head vs Morecambe reads 1 win and 1 defeat, both of course in the league cup at Oakwell. Ryan Hedges scored a 95th minute winner in a 4-3 victory in 2017, avenging a 2-0 defeat in 2011. Backed by over 1500 reds fans, I fancy us to win this one. I'm going for 0-2 with Devante Cole grabbing a brace.
Should have said, if you guess the correct score and 1st goalscorer, you win a free piano (collection only).
Can't you push it round from Wath? I'm only in Wentworth. Coaley lane will be hard work, but then it's pretty much down hill..
Finally, somebody who talks my language.. That could really be a real thing. For the fitness freaks..
We look extra weak up top with Norwood suspended. Keep it 0-0 & Jalo to come on for the last twenty & steal a 1-0 win.
I'd bet on Cole Stockton scoring, he's done sfa this season, they were unlucky v Ipswich, Weds left it late but dominated.....can't wait...only thing is I have to go to work first.....just hope our fans don't let us down, really friendly family club Morecambe
Grandson’s first game, 0:2 and a life of hope, tears and not a little joy as he gets hooked. You reds!
