    Pakistan robbed there. No way was that a no ball. He hit it from outside his crease and even at that point it was debatable.

    The no ball rule needs changing. If you get bowled one one it should be a dead ball. You shouldn't be allowed to run a few times when you've not hit it, just because you got lucky.

    I think I agree. The minute the bails come off the ball should be called dead, a point awarded to the batting team and a free hit given.

    If you call it a dead ball in those circumstances, do you give another free ball ?
    You can’t penalise the batter

    You aren't penalising the batter. They had a chance to hit the ball as hard as they can, knowing they can only be out on a run out.

    If its caught you get the runs you ran. Don't see a problem with the rule as it is tbh.

    The fielding side failed to stop the ball shooting to the boundary on a free hit. They deserve to give runs away therefore.
    The batter is entitled to take as many runs as they can until a stump is taken out as it becomes a bail basically.
    I think what you’re saying is to change the rule about when the stumps have been broken in any circumstance should play continue ?

    Ethically you’re right though .. in my opinion
