The irony of this is of course is that no Party/govt has ever been as close to the Russians as the Tories

 

Why do you hate "lefties"?

Is it the being "woke" and speaking out against racism/oppression of others?

Is it the wanting to help others instead of only looking out for number 1?

Is it the wanting an end to corruption in government and hold actual traitors (not pretend one's like "remoaners") to account after 12 years in which the country has slipped down the rankings in quality of life and magnitude on the world stage?

Interested to hear your thoughts.

I haven't seen the original "racist" post. So can't comment on that but the rest of the thread looks like a bit of a pile on with some abuse and threats of violence to the OP.

That's the reason I liked his post about left wing posters. It's becoming quite a common theme on here.

I'm going to go back to my stance of not posting on political threads.

 

So someone posts a racist joke on here and you think nobody should stand up and say something about it? I didnt see it but I can see the explanations of what it was.

Nothing to do with left or right, just common decency.

 

If someone is racist I don't think it's "a pile on" when numerous people call out the racist for being racist. Is it left wing to be anti-racist?

For context the original post said sunak has moved in to number 10 and had a photo of downing Street turned into a corner shop. The inference was clearly that because sunak is Asian he must obviously run a corner shop. A very lazy racist stereotype. Not really defendable except to say maybe the poster of it is too thick to realise.

 

Think people mistake left wing for decency these days. Some of the stuff posted about Sunhak on social media was horrific yesterday. Sometimes, letting the casual stuff go leads to more - if people are calling it out, then hopefully it will stop. It won't, but we live in hope ...

 

You admit you didn’t even see the post but you decided to defend a racist anyway and say we’re the ‘left wing’ bad guys for ‘piling on’. Everyone who sees them should call out racist posts. If only the first person to see it is allowed to comment then the poster will think only one person cares and that it must be ok. Maybe after seeing more comments they should realise they are in the wrong. The post was eventually changed after a few comments, not the first one.

 

The problem is Stephen. Most left wingers on here are NOT communists. In the Russia mould as the picture appears. Or China with their appalling human rights.
Left wing doesn't necessarily equal Communism
As Right wing doesnt necessarily equal Racism.
The tories do not represent the working class. Although lots of working class think so.
Turkey's voting for xmas springs to mind. Imho.
Some of the stuff Mick writes can be offensive. So he reaps what he sows on occasion. It doesnt seem to bother him so don't worry about him.

 

It's interesting that despite all that's been going on recently that's worthy of comment, you chose to break your stance of not posting on political threads to defend someone posting racist nonsense.

This was the original picture . I took it down not because I’m a little man though . It was a joke that that as been circulating social media all day yesterday . Sure, it’s not to everyone’s taste but there’s many things on here I dont like .
For example, I can guarantee there is, and will be more posts on here today and in the future, regarding how Tory mp’s should be hung, shot and many other types of violent ends .
I don’t cry like some on here have. I’m not a hypocrite like them . Most have far left ideas that they constantly ram down our throats . I couldn’t give a toss what they think . One bloke said I need a slap . I’m still waiting for his message . Anyhow, there’s too much political ***** on here to start with.
