Stephen, if you can’t name your local MP do you honestly think you should get a vote? Honestly no disrespect to yourself but your blind vote could affect many people’s lives.
My vote has never made a difference. I voted Lib Dem in 2010 and Yvette Cooper took the Pontefract seat. I voted Conservative in 2019 and the Labour candidate won the Wingfield seat. Under our system my vote didn't make a 5hit of difference.
I agree mate. The FPTP system is utterly useless. If PR was introduced I’m sure that would make one hell of a difference as every vote would count.
I agree I should take more interest at local level. That said, it's mostly the national interest that makes the news that puts fire in the belly so to speak. I doubt I'll vote Conservative again now. To be honest I don't think I'll vote at all under this system.
He spouts plenty of offal so I'd say quite high up. Regarding Mick. He's a good wind up merchant. I can't believe so many take him serious. He's admitted as such on this thread. I don't even think he's racist. Just stirs the pot like Nudger used to do. Only difference for me is he's got a thick skin and can take the bites.
@mick woodhouse We don't want posts like your original, pre-edited one on here. You can have sone time off to think about that. Consider this a final warning for future behaviour as well
I usually find thats the case with racists they're cowards dont have morals and will often get a taxi home with a asian go for a curry and even let a surgeon with diffrent coulor skin operate on them. But then go home and post rasict stuff from behind a keyboard very strange.
Hi @Fonzie How did you report this - I didn't see any alert. When I saw this thread yesterday the original photo had already been changed so I didnt see any need to take action I see that the OP reposted it today and @Gally has now banned him. Of course the original photo is not acceptable so you dont need to boggle your mind anymore.
I clicked the report button at about the time I posted my first reply yesterday afternoon, and I'm glad it's been dealt with. Gally's reply in this thread was very welcome and was all that was needed, so you don't need to be sarky.
I saw a post on Facebook yesterday, a photo of the door of number 10 & about 20 odd pairs of shoes placed neatly outside. I won't re-post, but it's there if you look for it. I found it gently amusing, but still racial stereotyping. Though, the Indian community probably wet themselves at that one.
You made the mind boggling comment I think it was just a light hearted response to that, certainly how it read to me having just read through this entire thread (which it turns out was a waste of time)
He reposted it in a reply to me, I clicked the alert & there it was. If it's not acceptable, why is it still there? People will have seen it by now.. Also, my wishy-washy, wokey-dokey, snowflakey-wakey sensibilities were feeling somewhat bruised this morning. Am I due any form of compensation? Thanks.
It's amazing how a thread can spiral out of control. Looking at the initial picture I agree it was racial stereotyping.
