JM would’ve been first player I’d have took off at half Time........

Agree had to be a piss take .
Substitute him at half time for Jack.
Kane comes off who looked a brighter player.

The sooner Jordan Williams is back the better. The guy Edwards is no replacement on that showing.

Lincoln pull men back of course, and we resort to high balls punted down the centre.

Devante Cole best of a poor bunch for me. Can't understand Martin getting the award.

Maybe we asked Someone from Lincoln to pick our player who helped them most?

Only Andersen & Cole came out of that game with even a tiny bit of merit imo

    Completely agree

Cole gets some stick but he puts a shift in . Norwood got to be one of worse signings in some time

    Cole for me.

The only player on the pitch who attempted to beat a man with some purpose to drive forward. Rather than **** his pants and pass it backwards.

Even if he's your favourite player I don't see how you could pick him.

For a player who is supposed to be a creative, beat your man winger or attacking midfielder he did very little tonight. I don't recall him getting past an opponent or creating any chance of note.

Cole was the best (loose application of the word) player for us tonight. Andersen was reliable. Kitching wasn't awful. The rest were disappointing.

We kept possession for possessions sake. There was no drive, no spark and no creativity.

Every time Kane got the ball the momentum slowed to walking pace.

I'm starting to think that Thomas was massively under rated. His end product may be lacking but we're really missing his ability to pick up the ball and run at people, dragging the team behind him and chasing opponents down.

That was as bad a Barnsley perforce I've seen since Jim Iley. We did not play the ball at all today. Long ball only. Hope Duff sees error in his ways. Holy Ronnie Glavin, that was awful. I'm still on the side of Duff, but we really need a plan now. That long ball stuff....

i don't like to single players out but was actually joking with my lad how bad martin had been and 2 mins and later he was motm!
i had to ask him if i heard right! not many candidates granted but i did see a ballboy pass it right twice though unsure if it was him the 2nd time and not a steward

Have to disagree with that, his pointless long wayward balls, or inability to make a simple pass when he's in an advanced position is really starting to hamper some of our attacking play. It was bad start of season, but defensively he did well, and we were winning so it drown out his poor forward play (or when he went on one of those lung busting runs), then it improved somewhat, kept it simple. But last few games the amount of momentum we've lost via Kitching in a forward position is really damning for us.

To add the cherry on the cake, he missed a free header from 6 yards out without forcing the keeper to make an actual save. I'm sorry, I do want to like the lad because he puts in the effort, but when Kitching leaves BFC I fully expect him to spend the rest of his career in non league.
