Wouldn't disagree with that in terms of technical ability. As we have learnt at our cost though it's not always as simple as that.
For example we will win some games due to have a young team who work hard. Weds away springs to mind as a game we we just worked hard.
The flip side is the lack of experience, if we aren't at our best we may be our thought by both experienced coach's and players.

Im not disagreeing that some work off the pitch is also needed but we signed 11 new players on freebies, we sold anyone we could get out for in the summer it was always going to be a tough season we've had to cut the wage bill massively.

we have 2 recognized strikers at the club one most people wrote him off as not good enough for this league and the other looks well past his best and thank god was only signed for a year.

Im not saying the manager doesnt have work to do but it goes abit deeper. People already calling for his head? We were told it was a long term project give it time. Were 15 games into the season.

The last window looks just as bad as the previous 2 before. Lincoln sign loan signings like jack diamond we get edwards who was morcambes and lincolns best player.

I agree with this. We never dealt with the attacking void. Thomas did a lot to fill that gap & Cole has stepped up his effort / performance levels. For me Norwood is the guy you put on if you are chasing the game after 60 minutes. Hard to see him as a true 90 minute man, unless you have a Thomas type ball carrier. The big disappointments are in midfield and wing back positions, where you would expect that energy. Not seeing anything from anyone we signed in the summer & Kane & Benson seem to be happy passing sideways, or back rather than driving forward. Unless that changes, we are in for a long, hard season. I think we have the right manager, but we need to step up, pressure the front line & someone needs to be bold enough to put a killer pass in. Otherwise, we we will be bottom eight. Khaled has to go for me. Clueless, but no doubt a nice fella.

Kane and Benson are passing sideways or back because they are told not to take any chances and keep possession by the manager. Hence we see nobody running at their man. Problem with how the squad is performing is in the dugout and is a Duff.

Nearly every club without exception in this league signed similar numbers of players and according to this only 4 clubs spent money with only Ipswich spending large numbers the other 3 were people like Lincoln with 27k spend.
Appreciate this may not be 100% accurate but it gives an indication that all the clubs are operating on a similar level down here.

We have nobody who can run at a man bar thomas. Our best chance of scoring is from a set play or a cadden cross but with our only 2 strikers been cole and norwood thats a big ask. Fact is he hasnt got the players to play the football stendel did or even val did a few seasons back very limited with a poor unbalanced squad.

I got pelters on here referring to that site that we paid over 1million pound for patrick schmidt.

People are comparing it to 2014 under wilson but back then we still lost the same sum of money, had no salable assets. Wilson was backed by cryne he was able to bring in the experience he wanted and the likes of winnall connor luke berry scowen adam davies from the spreadsheet. The football from start to February was terrible far worse than what we have seen this season getting dicked by the likes of crawley walsall notts county. People made every excuse under the sun for wilson but duffs 15 games in and people calling for his head get a grip.

    I

Disagree with that. Standard of football this season is far worse than 2014.

Benson, Kane, Williams, Cole all capable of trying to take a man on. Especially in this league.

Based on what? The opening game of the 2014 season crawley at home 1 nil defeat, mind numbing performances to walsall away donny away mk dons at home the 0-0 draw in the cup to chester was abysmal. It definitely was worse back then with a better squad sorry to say.

It really is very poor. And unlike then when you could see there was talent there but not quite gelling I look now and everyone is just meh including the manager (thus far)!

It's like Gardener's World or the Antiques Roadshow. It's beige and I don't really have an opinion on it. Other than it's beige.

The manager can only play with the cards he's been dealt. Hes got quite a few jokers to work with and when your 2 main strikers are cole and norwood failing that your bringing on a 16 year old you know times are bad...

We have not got a worse squad than Lincoln or Exeter of Morecambe.

I’d say the top 3/4 teams are significantly better but we should not be playing 3 teams of moderate ability and not scoring or getting a single point.

Agree about the forwards though assume Norwood was Duff’s pick.

No argument that it’s a difficult job and will need 18 months minimum to sort out but without any support to fund signings can’t really see things improving.
