Crap weather, (probably) crap football, FGR will bring about 200 supporters. Might be the first sub 9,000 crowd we've had in years - obviously we had more than a few last season but the thousands of ST holders who didn't turn up were counted anyway.
There was about 9,000 home supporters on Tuesday and it’s Saturday so total crowd should be 9,400 / 9,500
Had my Covid Jab and feeling a bit under the weather with a cold. If it doesn't stop raining I'm not sure I'll be going. .
I am missing today but given my ticket to a friend to keep up the numbers. Getting my football fix this afternoon at KR Reykjavik. Hopefully will make me realise that we aren’t as bad as I think we are. You missing reds.
I will be amazed if it was only 5000 as you suggest but the fact that we have sold over 8000 season tickets will reflect in the gate , but to be honest I do not care about the armchair stay aways that is their choice & rightly so ,but what I do not like to read is the stay aways coming on here & bleating about the gate , they cannot have it both ways , not attending & then moaning about how low the gate was .
I think some who don’t go are actually more happy how low the gate is rather than moaning about it to be fair.
True , you put it better than me , I know this, the armchair critics have a field day when we lose & are often on the key boards before the final whistle has blown , regarding the low attendance it makes the stay aways happy because it justifies their decision .
This thread has gone weird. Primarily as we haven't had low attendances. There's clearly far more people attending this season than there was for much of last (despite what the numbers may say) and the away following is a big as it's ever been.
