A quick five, just off the top of my head.

    The Cure - A Forest
The Passions - I'm In Love With A German Film Star
    OMD - Messages
Cocteau Twins - Musette and Drums
    Killing Joke - Butcher

I would have had Tubeway Army's "Are 'Friends' Electric?" in there too, but I think it might have been just before the time frame.

Ask me tomorrow and it could be a different five songs. :D

I was a bit disappointed when I bought the album, because the version of Messages differed from the single version ( a different intro and the sound was a bit thinner). Thankfully when I got the CD album some years later, it included the single version of Messages as one of the bonus tracks.
